Anti-Corruption Coalition Uganda (ACCU) is a  registered NGO  bringing  together like-minded entities and individual actors whose preoccupation is publicising, exposing and advocating for curbing corruption in Uganda. 

Between 2018 and 2021, Quantum Dynamics was tasked with handling and managing ACCU’s Social Media Management. We achieved the following milestones for ACCU;


We achieved the following milestones for ACCU;

  • Increased Follower Growth: Grew their Facebook from 30,000 followers to 123,000 followers making it the most followed Facebook account of any NGO based in Africa. Grew Twitter following to 12,000
  • Improved Audience Sentiment:  Repositioned audience sentiment from largely negative (only 12% positive) to 65% positive
  • Improved Engagement Rates:  Boosting overall social media engagement by 30%, including likes, comments, shares, and click-through rates on posts.
  • Higher Reach and Impressions: Achieving a 40% increase in organic reach and impressions through optimised posting schedules and content.
  • Community Building: Establishing an active and engaged online community, evidenced by a 25% rise in user-generated content and interactions.
  • Event Promotion Success: Successfully promoting client events on social media, resulting in a 50% increase in event attendance and registrations.
  • Crisis Management: Handling potential social media crises efficiently, maintaining a positive brand reputation and minimising negative feedback.
  • Audience Insights: Providing valuable audience insights to the client, leading to improved target audience segmentation and tailored content creation.
  • Social Media Advertising Success: Running successful social media ad campaigns with a 25% increase in click-through rates and conversions.
  • Establishing the client as an industry thought leader by sharing valuable content and insights, resulting in a 15% increase in thought leadership mentions.
  • Enhanced Customer Service: Improving response times and customer service on social media, leading to an increase in customer satisfaction scores.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Providing comprehensive and data-driven social media reports, showcasing the growth and success of the client’s social media presence.
  • Brand Advocacy: Cultivating brand advocates among followers, resulting in a 30% increase in user-generated content showcasing the client’s products or services.

The Impact

Quantum Dynamics  played a pivotal role in elevating ACCU’s social media standing. The growth in ACCU’s audience resulted in a larger audience to engage with and raise awareness about their cause, leading to potential support, donations, and partnerships. With Improved follower growth,improved audience sentiment,higher reach engagement rates,event success and social media advertising success; these accomplishments contributed to better reach, support, and engagement, helping ACCU advance its mission and make a more significant impact in Uganda.
